Ceibo Valley is using all tools at its disposal to reduce the negative impacts of building construction and operations. Our environmental specialist created a process of measuring all emissions — a first but important step to understanding the full scope of the community’s environmental footprint. Working with employees and contractors they then identify priority areas where emissions can be reduced and set meaningful targets for reductions in the years ahead.

The Ceibo Valley golf course was designed to minimize its impact on the environment. We carefully chose the course routing to minimize the land disturbance. We selected seashore paspalum grass so we can irrigate with salt water and create natural weed resistance. We used natural grasses, the terrain and dunes to reduce water requirements and the impact on surrounding wildlife.
